We are professionals in home watching, maintenance, and repair. With years of experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing everything related to homes and properties, we know what to expect and how to handle any problem. We treat your property like we treat our own.
Who We Are
Matt Hempfling, our owner, recently moved to the Lakewood Ranch area with his family. He and his wife have two young daughters. Matt, a Veteran of the US Navy, decided to move to SWFL after a successful career as a law enforcement officer, Security Specialist, and Executive within the US Department of Homeland Security. In those roles, he was responsible for day-to-day law enforcement operations and the protection of federal facilities in the New York Metro Region consisting of Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens, and Upstate NY.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education from St. Joseph’s University on Long Island, NY. Matt is a board-certified, Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through the American Society of Industrial Security International (ASIS - www.asis.org ). In 2016 Matt worked as General Contractor, and oversaw all facets of the complete renovation of his home on Long Island, NY. He was responsible for developing a budget and scope of work, interviewing and hiring contractors, scheduling, and coordinating the various trades to ensure smooth and timely completion of the renovation, quoting, ordering building materials, and ensuring proper permits were filed with the town. Matt is very familiar with and has a strong working knowledge of a wide range of building materials and tools.
In 2018 Matt became a living kidney donor by donating his kidney to a sick friend in need. Matt says “it was an honor to be able to help a friend in need. Other than marrying my wife and the birth of my children, it was the greatest accomplishment of my life.” He truly believes that the best way to help yourself is to help others. Matt continues to advocate for organ donation by supporting various charities such as Donate Life.
Donating a kidney has not slowed Matt down, it’s been quite the opposite. Since that day, Matt has competed in numerous triathlons and running events ranging from sprint triathlons to half-ironman 70.3-mile distances, to a full 140.6-mile Ironman in Lake Placid, NY on July 24, 2022.

Inspecting the outside of the home and the perimeter of the property
Test and secure doors, windows, outdoor lights and furniture
Check for mold, mildew, leaks, and pests indoors
Verify the operation of HVAC, appliances, electrical systems, and water systems
Set light timers, security systems, and thermostats
Check humidity levels and monitor for power and temperature abnormalities
Ensure packages/fliers and mail are brought into the home
Ensuring HOA requirements are being met
